It’s been a while since I’ve posted one of these, huh? With the recent purchase of an HD webcam, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to get back into the groove of posting vlogs again. I kind of regret deleting those videos, for now I don’t know how much I’ve really changed since then. Life goes on I guess. This is a short, simple vlog about my past 21st birthday. I had three different birthday celebrations thanks to the awesome support from my friends and family. Thank you so much!

Though my birthday has not come yet, on the evening of Friday, April 16, 2010, My girlfriend Krizia, along with the help of Anthony and Rachel, gave me one of the biggest but simplest birthday surprises I have ever received in my life. The floor was filled with balloons and the room was decorated just for me. As I walked in, Krizia presented me with a beautiful chocolate birthday cake with only half of the candles lit. She was rushing to get them all lit but gave up as I was entering. :) For my birthday present, she gave me a gorgeous, hand-made, one-of-a-kind, straight-from-the-heart birthday scrapbook filled with her thoughts and the sweet memories we spent together over past few months. I’m usually thankful enough to receive just a birthday card from someone with their thoughts written down. Receiving a gift like this not only makes me feel happy, but it also makes reminds me of why I’m so thankful to be blessed.

Green, who is like a younger sister to me, turned 16 today. It’s crazy how fast she’s growing. It seems like not too long ago she was still eleven when I met her. I’m glad that her day went as well as she expected or even better. For her birthday, I’m giving Green a birthday dinner to any place that she wants. It’ll be a good way for us to catch up on old times as we haven’t been able to see each other as much due to our change in lifestyles.

Yesterday was such a lazy day. I had so much to do and ended up doing nothing at all. My laundry is still dirty and I still need to visit the school to inquire some info about financial aid. Though I was pretty dead during the daytime, things started to become lively during the night. Matt and I decided to treat our friend Devo, who turned 21 yesterday, to a small birthday surprise. Nothing too big, just cake, snacks, and a great time together with the rest of our friends. Happy 21st Devo! :)
