Weapon of Voice Ever since Thomas had his car painted, I told him that it now looks like either a mob vehicle or a funeral car. He paused and replied, “I think we’ll stick with mob vehicle.” The fact that his car looked like a vehicle owned by the mafia gave me an idea for an photo.

Weapon of Voice (pre-concept sketch) I sketched a rough idea (please don’t judge my drawing skills, it was just a 2 minute sketch) of the picture that I had in me head some time ago and presented the idea to him. The original sketch had a baseball bat or gun as the weapon, but Thomas suggested that we use something more that was symbolic. He suggested that we use a microphone, because it represents is passion for music and rapping. I thought it was a brilliant idea. The only problem that came to our minds was, “Where the hell are we gonna find a microphone?” We didn’t want to spend too much on a simple prop. Luckily we managed to find one for $6 with our employee discount. The photo was taken on the same night as “I am the game” and came out exceptionally well. I waited too long to start editing this photo and finally got to it today. It took a total of about 4 hours because I spent too much time experimenting with it. I settled with the name “Weapon of Voice”, which I coined from the popular phrase “Weapon of choice.”
